Rural Poor Exposure
The Lorenzo Mission Institute fosters training among seminarians with rural way of life. It is to understand the rural poor folks and to be sensitive to their spirituality, their history, their hopes and their joys and to journey with their ways of life.
The apostolate toward the prisoners is a remarkable virtue developed by the seminarians. Bible sharing, catechesis, prayer, and dynamic presence are great helps for prisoners in their loneliness and journey toward new life. Conversion is a tangible experience among prisoners where seminarians have to be sensitive of.
Home for the Elderly
With the arrangement with the Missionaries of Charity of Mother Teresa, LMI seminarians go and have their pastoral exposure with the elderly in the Home for the Aged. The care for the elderly is one of the most profound ministries of the priest therefore, seminarians have to be acquainted with the ministry of the elderly especially those who have been abandoned by their families.

The LMI seminarians are given the opportunity to be with children who were abandoned and left behind by parents. It is an exposure to children who long for emotional and physical presence and care. The seminarians have a year long experience with abandoned children and a month-
Children ministry in the parish where members of the Lorenzo Ruiz Mission Society are working are integral for evangelization and mission. The consciences of the children are to be formed and developed according to the mind of the Gospel and the morality taught by the Catholic Church. The seminarians are prepared for this apostolate.
The Chapel of the Eucharistic Lord has been entrusted to the care of the Lorenzo Ruiz Mission Society. The seminarians have their exposure as choir in the Chinese Mass every Sunday in SM Megamall.
Urban Poor Exposure
LMI seminarians have emersion and apostolate with the Urban Poor in Manila City and Quezon City. This foreshadows the ability of the seminarian to live a life of simplicity and to be one with those who are in abject poverty and share in their sufferings once they become priests. The LMI seminarians are oriented towards Basic Ecclesial Communities. Activities like mobility for helping the victims of typhoon, fire, and flood. Basic forms of charity are essential exposures of the seminarians.
The LMI seminarians are given the opportunity to be exposed to the current Church situations and to the cultures of both Taiwan and China. It is also a way to enrich their sense of mission and to be acquainted to the different paths of mission beyond the Philippine shores.
